The Sunday market in Bac Ha is where you'll want to stock up on water buffalo, pigs and horses. Once you're all set, you can browse for bottles of local firewater (made from rice, cassava or corn) or handicrafts made by some of the 10 Montagnard groups living near here - Flower Hmong, Dzao, Giay (Nhang), Han (Hoa), Xa Fang, Lachi, Nung, Phula, Thai and Thu lao.
 
Night 1 - Thursday: Ha Noi – Lao Cai 
Depart at 8.30pm from your hotel. Overnight on train.

Day 1 - Friday: Lao Cai – Sa Pa – Soft Trek (B, D)
Arrive at Lao Cai train station at about 6.30. 2.5hrs bus trip 40km to Sapa. Free time to visit Sapa town. In the afternoon, 2hrs trekking 5km to visit Cat Cat Village, home of Black H’mong hill tribe. Meeting & Talking with locals to learn more about their daily life.
Night 2 - Friday: Overnight at a hotel in Sapa

Day 2 - Saturday: Sapa - Can Cau - Bac Ha (B, L, D)
 Start early in the morning at 6am, driving to Can Cau market, which passing Bac Ha Town. The road between Bac Ha and Can Cau is hilly but very beautiful. The products at the market are interesting, and many different groups of ethic minority people represent make the market an unforgettable experience. Back to Bac Ha for lunch. Check-in at a hotel in Bac Ha. After a rest, trekking about 5 km of mountain path to Ban Pho Village - home of  Flower H'Mong people, get in touch and witness their traditional life style,  habit and customs.
Night 3 - Saturday: Overnight in the hotel in Bac Ha.

Day 3 - Sunday: Bac Ha - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B, L, D)

After breakfast,  time to visit Bac Ha Sunday Market before lunch time. Drive back to Lao Cai City. Dinner in Lao Cai and take a night train back to Hanoi.
Night 4 - Sunday: Overnight on train back to Hanoi

Day 4: Hanoi (B)
Arrive in Hanoi early morning. Check-in at Hotel for breakfast and bathing. Finish tour
